Undisguised pictures of the new DBS

The new DBS, due for launch later today, has finally been captured without any disguise.

It looks like a design that I could warm to very quickly, what do you think?

I like some aspects of the body, but the aero components do not work for me at all. That front slitter is an atrocity!

I kinda like it....minus the wheels. The body proportions are nearly as sensuous as the current car but it looks more modern. I'm sure we'll warm up to it more.

Ugly.. Green house is too shallow (slitty) and the wheel designers must have had a real bad day after a whole night of partying with the girls. It is out of proportion. ALL of it!! What a waste!

Gut reaction is that I like it although I can understand those who aren't fans of the Virage or the V12 Zagato won't.

The wheels continue the morph of the V12V wheels => Zagato => new DBS. They're a relatively bold design and will play a big role in defining the style of the car.

Will be interesting to see how it stands the test of time.

I think that they are moving in a more modern direction in terms of the shape. I like the ONE-77 influence on the side of the car and the more muscular wheel arches. The air vents in the hood are awkward and the wheels are obviously wrong. The rear valance is a combination of the Virage and the V12 Zagato. In fact it reminds me of this:

Don't like the front splitter... The rear end is not bad the tail lights one77 style on this car will grow on me, really like the side profile and haunches which are similar to current DB9/DBS... Overall not a bad looking car, don't like the quarter windows but do like the side Mirror style... I think the car is trying to hard to look fancy or technical ... One of the things that make astons great are simple elegant subtle sophistication, style and grace. I hope that this continues to be the underlying theme and I think that the current DB series really captures that perfectly.
