Ckecked the boots yesterday, no rubbing at all. Infact, I do not see how they could possible rub, at least on a V8V.

Have fun with the new wheels and tires, looks awesome!

Thanks Sunir! Honestly, at this point, I'm not really concerned about possible issues with the boots but, I will nevertheless keep an eye on it. Wheels are supposed to be here Wednesday!!! More to follow.....

Great for you! Glad to hear that you've not had any issues. How long have you had the springs on? Miles?

Obviously, there have been cars with issues but perhaps b/c they are hand built, each car is somehow a tiny bit different thus, some have had issues.

I talked with Peter at Wheel Experts where I bought the springs and wheels; he has many customers with the very same setup you and I have and isn't aware of any issues.

HRE P44SC finally mounted.

In my opinion, this is perfection for the DB9! I am extremely happy with the results. The guys at Wheel Experts and HRE have been awesome to work with. We had some difficulty with fitment b/c AM changed the rear caliper in 2009. It turns out the caliper is more square on the inside edge where the first attempt had the spoke on the concave rear hit the edge of the caliper. Second attempt overcorrected the offset given the tire size (295/30) and the tire rubbed on the fender. Third attempt, we added 1/2" the width (now 11" wide) and added 6mm to the offset (moved it inboard) and now we have PERFECTION!

Guy (US Sales Mgr) at HRE has been very paitent with me b/c I sometimes have not been very easy to deal with. Thank you for your professionalism! You're awesome!

The finish quality of these wheels is second to none I've ever seen... ...and I've seen lots!

Thanks again to Peter and Brandon at Wheel Experts and Guy, Lon, Vince, Nick, Saturo and everyone else at HRE who has made this happen! You're the best!

..... on to the pics!

Looks really nice! My only concern is that with the larger wheels it makes the brakes look much smaller (basically puny) not filling up the wheels nearly as much.. I think with a bigger brake upgrade all around it would help fill the wheels and improve the overall look.

Seriously Sunir? I can always count on you to drop a turd. I'm glad you're concerned about the size of the brakes but, I don't see it as an issue. Frankly, the wheels are much easier to clean with a little room created by the larger wheels. Have zero interest in larger brakes...... Thanks anyway.

That is so true. You can reach your hand in between the larger spoke gap and clean inside the barrel True me, I got the P44SC I approve!
