One thing I want to do is to change out the wheels later on. Not a big fan of the stock wheels. Anyhow looking forward to learning more about Astons. Here are some pics.

Holy cow I love this car. Great choice.
Can I take it for a ride!??

Those door seal tags could be special ordered to say what ever the buyer wanted on them. I wonder if the PO originally ordered it to say that?

Very nice car you have there! I'm from the Porsche world as well but got some huge sticker shock when it came to buying maintenance items.

Thanks dan. How big of a sticker shock compare to P-cars? I am taking it for oil change and power steering flush tomorrow. This will be my first time taking the DB9 to the dealer. I just want to be prepared so I know whether I should be sitting down or standing up when I look at the invoice

I was quoted $750 for just an oil change from my dealer. I don't know how much they will charge for a PS "flush" but I bet you are close to a grand including the oil change. I actually service the car myself and while an oil change is quite involved its not hard to do at all, just time consuming.

When you order a new car there is an option (£300 / $450) to have anything you want put on the sill plaques. That may be why yours say what they do? Mine say "Hand built in England for Michael"

You can buy them to retrofit to your car, or Tony Hall on PistonHeads can do some, good quality and a much better price

I currently have a 996 turbo and suddenly have the DB9 bug. How do you like the '05 model? I've been looking at the '08 models.

My DBS also had sill plaques ordered with original owner name, so I ordered standard ones from Astonmartinbits. I think they were 90 pounds each.
