Aston Martin battery conditioner
I bought this, and it's fine, but I see no need for it. If you drive you car at least once a week your battery should last 5-6 years. What's this going to do, extend it another year?

I don't have much experience yet with my car in general and it has a new battery, but may Cayman was so finicky that I would always have it on the tender during the wk. I now do the same with the Vantage just out of habit.
I use the CTEK MUS 4.3 on my R8, Carrera S and Vantage.
I was instructed to use the motorcycle setting on the charger but can't remember the specific reason for this setting.
Never have had a problem.

My friend had (had, because he sold it last year and bought a Boxster) an Alfa Romeo Spyder. It was a 1997 or 1998. The day he sold the car, it was still on it's original battery.
From day one, as soon as he came home, he plugged the car in on the trickle charger. So, 2015 - 1998 = 17 years almost constantly on a maintainer.
That battery was 17 years old and was always at full capacity. Based on the Alfa experience, a battery maintainer can seriously extend the battery life.
