Finally posting after about a year...

I had a couple young kids who wanted to see the car in Annapolis at Cars and Coffee. I let them sit in it and one spilled ice cream it in
I had my Aston for almost exactly a year, but figured I would finally post it here. I’m pretty active at Cars and Coffee in Northern Virginia (Katie’s Coffee) and Annapolis so DC area people may have seen it there before over the last year...

Model: 2014 Skyfall Silver Vanquish
Options: Except for carbon fiber paddle shifts, I believe my car has every factory option on it. Most notably off the top of my head: 2 + 2, red calibers, red interior with black inserts, exposed carbon fiber roof / door handles / mirrors / side reflectors / waterfall display, One-77 steering wheel.

Not sure it is the aero the problem, I saw an all Aston Martin race (I think it was Goodwood Festival of Speed) without any restrictions and it when front last on the grid to first even passing the old Vantage and a few Vulcan in the way. Mind you when they start limiting the car on Power the Aero is very important.

Wow, your Aston looks so cool. I love black, when it is not my own car. Car detailers call black cars that they work on “20 second high”. Because it is only perfect for 20 seconds! On a side note, I have owned two black cars in my 61 years.
no more for me.

Ron, Its all in how you take care of it. I never put it up without washing it first, (I will let it sit for a day or two if I dont have time). But I follow the washing techniques in my Special Car Cleaning 101 threads. The shine is produced by a process of paint corrections (leveling and smoothing of the clear coats) and then proper protectants.

Wheels ---- 22ple Wheel Coating
Paint --- AMMO Reflex, Skin, and Creme carnauba

But, Ron I can help you produce similar to yours if you wish to learn some and work on it.

PS Thanks so much, it was my Afghanistan gift to myself. I love it everyday, especially since AM UK told me less than 24 manuals were produced in 05' and none were on the books so to speak. They cant actually find out how many. They said mine is likely one of 10 probably left due to accidents and such. SO I am really happy
