Got some custom graphics done
I hope it's all on top of the vinyl and the paint underneath is untouched. There's a tiny tear in the vinyl in one spot so I'm hopeful the damage was contained.

Yeah, I'm fine. It was my fault. Had a lot of my mind and my garage is a tight squeeze to get through the door, plus it isn't a straight-in approach so I have to turn into it. Misjudged my clearance and scraped along the side of the garage door. Looks like it's all on the vinyl so it should just be a matter of replacing the clear wrap on those two panels.

Did you have the paint protection film installed yourself or was it a previous owner? If you remove the film and the paint underneath is unscathed, you might want to approach the film manufacturer or the installer and see if they would be interested in replacing it for free in exchange for using your car as a testimonial. I can think of nothing better to spend your advertising dollars than to show a client whose Aston Martin was spared a costly repair thanks to your product. Worth looking into.

Thanks, guys. I'm getting the vinyl pulled off on Saturday and having the paint on the front air dam and fender buffed to make sure it looks good. The lack of vinyl will be very difficult to notice and I doubt anyone will. But I'm on a crunch because I'll need to have new vinyl put on before next weekend... We'll see what happens!
