I'm having mine replaced under warranty next week... Known problem for a decade... I'd try complaining to a dealer to see if they could at least cut a deal.

I went through a brushless car wash the other week and my right tailight has condensation. It's been almost two weeks and it's still there with this crazy heat. Do I need to take it out and drill a hole in it or will it eventually go away?

very disappointed w/these. guy i bought the car from purchased a set of clears last october, when i bought it from him back 2 months ago 1 already had this issue. luckily the dealership took care of getting me a replacement, but this being an issue after only 8 months is just unacceptable for lights that run $750 each.

Thanks for the link.....I have a '12 V8 Vantage. I need to remove the right taillight and saw only two screws (one with a black metal dome and one in the side panel). I tried to remove the taillight but it was still caught on something. I am missing something? I look all around and couldn't find a third bolt.

Are the '12 taillights different than the '09?

Has anybody done a thread on removing the lens from the light assembly? I can't find anything on search, and am going to attempt to have the LED boards remade, rather than swap the whole light out...

wow, the quality of some of these lights are terrible. I just had the left tail swapped out about 2 months ago, and now the right one needs to be swapped as well. mind you these were purchased only last november...

The lens isn't designed to be removed. It's a sealed unit and not meant to be disassembled. You can try baking the assembly to soften the seal, though. I've done that to open headlights before.

Is it possible of instead of blowing the water out you use a vacuum and suck the water out through the drilled hole?
