Are you introducing boost? What compression ratio are you running. I did kind of poke but this is an incredible task and will make the car even more special. Here in the US an Aston is VERY coveted - more so than in the UK since they are more rare here.

I understood the pokeNo boost I looked at the supercharge offerings a couple of years ago and wasn't convinced on any of them.
Not sure on the CR I'm guess it is close to stock but I'll check

Adrian gave Johnny a preop check with no major issues found (phew)
Boy he knows his stuff! - within 100 yds of driving he'd spotted the "issues" I wanted them to look at
We talked about tyres and came up with a couple of options - DBS alloys with std 295's on or existing alloys and up the tyre to 285's I'm favouring the latter as the existing alloys are the light weight ones.
Probably will go to PSS's as well.
Engine out on Friday!

May I drive it this summer whilst on holiday to Scotland? Joking! Good luck with the transformation Mikey! for now, I'm content with the HP bump over my old 07...(which I believe to be 436 hp because it says SP10 under the hood). I like the idea of DBS Alloys though

Axa - I may be busy "testing" it round the Swiss Alps then SP10's are 430 BHP same as the V8VS
phun-ky - AFAIK no Bamford Rose are really busy struggling to cope with European cars, they also prefer to fit the engine and commission it to ensure there are no issues, that said they have shipped 4.7 GT4 race engines around the world.

^^^^ Hmm. Looks like the patient is missing its heart. Mikey, do you have a different hood/bonnet on your car now? In the picture, it looks like there is an extra vent between the 2 standard ones.

Bruce is in the throws of transplanting ancillaries from the old engine to the new ready for fitting next week (hopefully!)
Then it's time to upgrade the gearbox to ASM3 cooling and replace the drive shafts with something more substantial
