Bizarre maybe they have changed it back to Fuse 22 for MY13 cars

Gets even more odd. My 2013 V8V has no fuse in the #22 slot but does have a #15 fuse. The owners manual states that #22 controls the exhaust valve bypass vacuum switch, yet from the factory there is no fuse in that position. Removing #15 does open it up, although I have to say the change in sound is way more subtle than I expected.

Fyi, I didn't notice a big difference when I pulled fuse 22 (or fuse 15). Maybe the sport exhaust on the S makes the difference less apparent?
V8VS. Has sport mode, there is no point in pulling any fuses. Bypass valves activate under sport mode

Fuse 22 pull is only for older models (2010 was the last year I believe, someone can double check, it may be 2011 non-S models were the last).

While the Sport button on my V8VS does change some characteristics, it does not keep the valves open at all times. After paying closer attention to the sound in the lower end of the rpm band, pulling fuse 15 (5 amp) makes a noticeable difference both in Sport and non-Sport mode. The fuse has been out ever since.

I agree with Wem. The S valves still function in sport but open earlier.

Err, not really accurate. The V8VS (and the 2014 V8V) Sport Button changes the throttle map (relationship between pedal travel and throttle opening) and the RPMs at which the exhaust bypass valves are open or closed. Pulling the fuse or disconnecting the vacuum lines and plugging them will keep the valves open all the time.

It's 15 then, mine had fuses in both and 22 listed in the manual but it is actually 15 on my MY12 car

For the sake of not touching the electrical (07 DB9) pulled the vacuum hoses off both valves and capped all 4 openings, 2 valves and 2 hoses. The valves are "OPEN" and sound note much better --of course the FABSPEED X pipe helps!
