New Ride
New Ride
I have been MIA to this forum for a while because I have traded my V12V for a Mclaren Spider. I considered keeping both cars but frankly I barely have time to drive one let alone 2 premium cars. The V12V was an utter pleasure to own and drive. It was really the epitome of Aston Martin balance. If they had brought the V12VR here, my choice may have been different. In fact, when I first ordered my V12V, I configured 2 cars a coupe and a roadster just in case. I have no doubt that I will own another AM in the future.
In the mean time, the Mclaren is an unbelievable piece of engineering. The power is effortless and the balance of the car is amazing. It is the easiest car to drive fast that I have ever driven. I know that this is not the place to discuss Mclaren but there doesn't seem to be the same interest in the brand on 6speed. I just wanted to reach out and give every one here an update. This is one of the best group of owners out there. There is truly something special about Aston Martin ownership and the community. I will still be lurking and I look forward to rejoining the ranks when the time is right.

Beautiful car! I wouldn't worry about backlash on a non AM vehicle, I'm sure most owners are like me and appreciate all nice pieces of machinery. If I could swing it, I would love to add a new Mclaren to the stable.
Enjoy your ride, and I look forward to seeing the new AM when the time comes!

Beautiful piece of mechanical art. Keep us updated with some feedback after some seat time, from what I understand its just about the best ride on 'normal' streets you can ask for from a true supercar. Enjoy her in good health.
