Im about to purchase a Vantage soon!
Came across this one.
2006 Mercury silver. 39k miles. Clutch changed 10k miles ago. Car is clean. The only option it doesnt have that id really want is Sirius..but i guess i can live with that! Clean title with 2 owners
Not sure if it has aux or ipod?
It will cost me about $55k out the door. What do you think? (Paying 51k plus 4k in taxes)
Also rear tires need changing soon. The seller wanted 58 for it and hes not lowering anymore.

Nice early car
Brave interior
Has either got blue tooth or cruise missing (can't recall which side of the wheel they are
)
Future value is hard as this is an early car, though I'd have thought it would give less depreciation than a newer higher value car.
Buy on the condition now and enjoy it

Blue tooth is nice, but does it have premium sound? If yes don't worry about sat radio or iPod connectivity, there is a good and cheap work around . I would ask for another $2k and come back with $500 to $1k. However, if your emotions are now in play, letting them stew for a week could lose it for you, it is spring, If you are sure you love it.... Remember, don't back up an incline and use reverse as little as possible

39K miles isn't a lot -- better that it's been driven and not sitting in a garage for months not being used. As long as it's been serviced properly.
Reverse is geared closer to 2nd -- easy to burn the clutch if backing uphill a lot, unless you do it at 40mph

Here is the work around, I have mine plugged into Outlet in the back by the fuse box, (used for trickle charger and tire pump)

Reverse is as tall as second, and if you are moving less than about 10mph you are sliding the clutch. I wouldn't worry too much about the miles, provided ther are service records and the drive line doesn't have a lot of slop.
