Crazy Thing
I was running around last weekend taking care of some errands. As I left a store that I frequent, I was shocked to see my old V12V parked in a spot right in front. I snapped a quick pic as the lady driving it came out of the store. I complimented her on it and she thanked me in a British accent as she hurried in with her bags. It dawned on me after that I was a bit sweaty from yard work and running. So I'm sure I didn't come off as classy as I would have wanted. But now I have to live with seeing it near by. This is the first time that I can say that I have an old car in my neighborhood. It is cool to know however, that the new owner is British.
By the way I realized that I still have the HRE's that I took off the car when I traded it which are now for sale on the forum. It's kind of the last part of letting go.

That is a crazy/nostalgic experience! That's neat that the new owner happens to be in the same area. I just saw pictures of the car in your album... it was gorgeous! What did you trade her in for?

The most evident difference is the neutrality of the 12C in all conditions. I never feel a sense of danger when I am pushing the car. I have had 911's with and with out turbos that gave me the ******* on occasion. The V12V was very much like a GT3 in a tux. I always felt the need to back off to save me and the car. The 12C delivers greater confidence. It is always glued to the ground and lets you stay on throttle more often. I think that the precision of the car is the "lack of drama" that people complain about. I have had past cars pulled out of someones front garden and an embankment. So I really don't need any more drama.

You are certainly not the first person to ask. I would call myself a young 45. I'm fortunate to have a wife born in the decade after mine. So with all do respect in case the new owners are 6speeders I would say that my taste is a bit more junior. By the way I didn't forget.
