Just got my 09 Vantage Roadster delivered!

A 5 day transport from PA to AZ. That seemed like an eternity to me. I feel like a boy on Christmas day. But it's here!

It's an 09 in Berwick Bronze with a chocolate top and cream and brown leather interior. I think I got very lucky, although I'm going to have some questions about the clutch already (dang it!).

All in all though I am so pleased!

Thank you! You can see it caught the eye of almost the whole neighborhood. They are always intrigued at what my partner and I end up buying. It's very entertaining. : )

It is a BEAST with the quicksilver exhaust. I'm not sure if this is going to stay or not. I need some time to settle with it. With my last car, a 2013 BMW M3 Vert I had an aftermarket exhaust that let 'everyone' in the neighborhood know when I was coming or going. This exhaust is even MORE pronounced than that. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. Time will tell. : )

Phoenix... Congrats!!! It's beautiful!!! Looking at your pictures reminded me of how excited I was when I was waiting for my delivery (it seemed like an eternity for me too!.)

No32... JP Logistics delivered mine... I was very happy with them. I spoke with the president of the company a few times as it was in transit and I was informed of the current location every other day as I called.

I agree Astongirl! It was like an eternity. I've never been so impatient in my life. I'm sure my friends were very tired of hearing about that car.

I ended up using a company called Magic Carpet Transport who sub'd it out to Exclusive Auto Movers. This company was incredible. The truck was stunning. He was fast and kept in contact through texts letting me know where he was and if he could make it earlier. It was a great experience for someone who is typically the one wanting control of a situation.

I had some serious issues with the clutch misbehaving off the line, but 4-5 clutch learns fixed it right up. It's a dream right now. Thank God. That was a big worry of mine.

Here's some pics in the garage while I was figuring out the in's and out's of all the gadgets. It comes with the Quicksilver exhaust package, satellite nav, and the Passport 9300i laser/radar/GPS system for when I'm really stepping on it.

It needs a front brake job to stop the little red reminder on the tach from lighting up and the little iPod cable. And the dealer needs to send out the crystal key that was with the car when I bought it (somehow it was not with it when it arrived). And we're all set.

I took it to dinner tonight and the exhaust is a complete monster. Holy cow I'm not sure if I can get used to all that noise. The sale included the original exhaust. I'm going to give it some time to see if I can learn to appreciate it. It's incredibly loud under acceleration. It's incredible, but also incredibly loud I should say. LOL
