Ford Fusions....breaking my neck!
Every time I see one in my peripheral vision, I turn to look at the Fusion thinking just maybe it's a beautiful AM.....only to be sorely disappointed.
I understand Ford owned Aston before, and has their designs.
But are car companies allowed to just copy other car maker's designs? If so, how close can they copy?
Funny thing is, that Jag and Ford can never replicate the harmony and balance of an Aston which epitomizes beauty in an automobile.
If they can, then why wouldn't Hyundai design it's Genesis like an Enzo?

I see plenty of Ford Fusion's on the road, but can't say I've ever mistaken one for an Aston. Then again, you usually know there's an Aston around before you even see it.
I also think the Virage-style headlights on the new Aston's help distinguish the two apart.

plastique, did someone mistook your DBS for a Fusion? Hence you're selling? Just messing around.
I thought at some pt there might be a legal suit pertaining to the grille but nothing has happened. Not sure about everyone here but from far at a certain angle at night, the Model S fascia looks very AM. Maybe just me...

Guys - if manufacturers are trying to make cars prettier, I can think of only a few designs that are worth imitating. Aston Martin is one of those designs (I'd specify which one, but that is pointless).
Imitation is the highest form of flattery, right?

It is until the hot chick you take on a date says... ohh nice car... I thought it was a Fusion from a distance

Chances are, because you're referring to girls, they'd probably think your Aston is a Ford, even when sitting inside, staring at the badge.

At least your f*cking neighbor doesn't have one. Of all the cars she could've bought she just had to buy a Fusion.
