And yet the F1 has never been accused of being not a McLaren. Hmmm, let me go over here and read about this AMG, AML partnership thingy...

McLaren had never made its own engines. AM has. Also, the F1 engine was developed specifically for the F1 -- bespoke -- and isn't used in anything else. It's not a BMW (or AMG) engine dropped in the F1. And we're talking about a VERY limited production run.

Thanks for sharing. The original F1 was powered by a V12 BMW motor.
