What film are you getting? 15 is pretty dark.

Ceramic is well worth it. Just depends on the brand

Looks good.

Your black car is now very black. You live in Florida. Don't park outdoors for more than 6.23 minutes between April and November. It's likely to burst into flames or simply melt into an Aston Martin puddle.

Illegal in California--Way too dark. But then lots of stuff we enjoy in the "Other 49" are illegal in CA.

Also not as hot in Cali - Need the dark tint here in Miami ......

Any snow yet at Squaw

BTW - Went with Global 18% Ceramic .... Its dark but I do most of my driving during the day and its not an issue at all .... Will see how dark it is at night ... Absolutely cooler in the car with the ceramic tint

cyberimage is infamous around these parts
ceramic

apparently some people don't understand ceramic
the entire point of ceramic is it blocks the IR heat of the sun so you DONT HAVE TO GO DARK,, and 50% Ceramic car will be 50 % cooler than a
15% non ceramic tint car

you don't need dark on ceramic it has NOTHING to DO WITH HEAT

ceramic gets diminishing heat returns below say 35%

so ceramic at 35 % will be cooler and have more visibility at night than
non ceramic limo tint at 10 %

my R 8 and aston, have 50% ceramic HUBER tint, the best and original inventor of ceramic tint, and on a 100 degree day are way cooler than my
MERC e 63 that has 25% non ceramic tint..

in fact on 100 degree day the leather in not even that hot,, I can wear shorts with ceramic

go demo ceramic in a demo box with a HEAT LAMP and you will see
put ur hand on a NON ceramic tinted plexi box w heat lamp and its hot as hell

put hand on same box w 50 % ceramic and its slightly warm that's it,,

HEAT and LIGHT transmission are 2 totally different things

hope that helps

That is too dark for Texas, too. Thanks for the lesson on ceramics, cyberimage. I have been contemplating ceramic tint on my cars to combat the Texas heat but was completely ignorant. This information will really help guide my decision. I think I will install it on one of the cars this winter when demand might be lower at the shops. I would love to have lighter tint with more heat prevention.
