window caught under soft top
window caught under soft top
Is there a way to set how much the window goes down when opening the door, it goes down but not enough to clear the soft top, it has to go down another 3 mm.
thanks
thanks
It's a preset height that is lowered, cannot adjust the travel height to lower when door opens. If the window is getting caught on the softtop weather seal, the window is out of adjustment. Either the window is too far forward or to high up in the back section. This can be adjusted by removing the door arm/handle assembly which allows access to the window regulator clamp bolts. You will have to travel the window down to the mid section to see the bolts on the clamp, believe it's a T30 silver headed screw. Loosen the rear bolt and let the winodw come down 2mm and secure the bolt..keep the arm rest detached and out of the way..watch the door cable, keep mind of the 1/4 glass not to clash..close the door, travel window up/down/up..does it pass? If not adjust more as required. ..Easiest way is tpo mach the other window to this concerned door. Look at the gap between the 1/4 glass and the door glass..match the gaps, I match them around 1/4inch gap
