JB7 is infamous around these parts
Just saw this thread and want to chime in...
I would definitely be interested in a setup like this. I've looked at the H&R springs a few times and was concerned about the car being too "slammed". I have an 07 V8V coupe and feel that it only needs about .5-.75" drop to sit just right, not 1-1.5". In addition, the stock ride can be a bit harsh feeling over some bumps but I've partially attributed that to the stock Bridgestone stone tires. My plan is to put a set of HRE wheels and Michelins on it and think a decent lowering spring of about .5-.75" at all corners would do nicely. Keep us posted!

Watch this space guys. The Eagle has Landed. Note the wind on the coils - the way they actually gradually go from loose to tight rather than suddenly from one spring rate to another. There is also a conical shape to them that is hard to see in the picture, but this is a true progressive setup. Looking forward to the install review and results hopefully next week!

Great to see this happening! I love my current springs but I cringe more than I care to. Having an in-between option will be awesome!

Great project Stuart. These will be a great addition for people over the other options available.

Testing is going well. We completed the installation and have the car on the road. Fronts are perfect, we have made some revisions to the rear because it appears that there's going to be a different spring required between sportpack & non-sportpack in order to achieve the level of ride quality we want.

There's a revised set of rears that should be going on the car this week

Great to hear. is the test car a sport pack, non sport pack, or v8VS?

Can't wait to get my hands on a set of the rear springs!

Interested in an update as well. I have the HR springs and cannot stand the pogo effect its very unsettling.

We had to pull the plug on the original 'tester' as he went AWOL. Sonny D just installed them today, need to chat to him and see where we are.
