Matte wrap on Vantage, opinions?
If life is too short, why are you worried about protecting the paint. I hear you can get seat covers if you like , that will make it look different, I prefer to enjoy the nice interior leather. If your goal is "different", I guess you've got it. It doesn't make sense to me but that's just me, your choice.
Ironically, many people on here have some kind of clear bra like Ventureshield applied a large portion of their cars. Unlike a wrap, tHis is truly a "protect your paint only" type of modification in that it has no other aesthetic benefit. In fact, IMO it detracts from the finish to some degree no matter how good the quality of the install. Some may argue that their clear bra is not visible but from a few feet away, but the fact is that it still is not a cosmetic improvement (until you remove it, perhaps).
For the record, I applied a vinyl wrap stripe to my car, but would not do a clear bra. See here.
I'm not the one that mentioned protection, Duh, Karl did. I also said your choice, so watch your comments.
Yes, and your seat cover comment was pretty snide as well.
You have something against seat covers? Obviously you're promoting or selling something. You are free to have an opinion as well as me. It's a proper analogy.
Car looks excellent minus the wheels
Guys, looking for some opinions on this.
Trying to decide if I should keep my Vantage wrapped or remove the wrap (its black underneath) I am getting lots of feedback but would value the opinion of other Aston owners rather than the people who are currently giving me advise.
Its a metallic matte gray and looks very aggressive but with so many cars doing the matte or "flat" look does it take away the Aston Martin appeal?
The car was wrapped before being displayed at the SEMA Show, don't get me wrong the job is top notch and most people think its paint; even close up. Here is a photo... looking forward to some feedback.

Where do one can get car wrap in Orlando area and how much does it cost.
Do you mean to say it changes even color of the car?
You can remove it without damaging the paint?
And are there led under side grill?
Wraps often completely change the car, usually in a mat or satin finish.
A random Google of the internet on Aston Martin Wrap turns up multiple examples.
This car was wrapped in lime green

This car in chrome vinyl

Flat black

Red

Etc.

About the bickering... The OP asked for opinions, and got them pro and con. Some like wraps and think they're fun, matte or not, other don't. Life certainly is too short, so if you like wraps, then wrap your car. If you don't, then don't. Simple
