H&R Springs confusion... 29108-1 vs 29108-2? Or Vantage S springs

Hey guys,

I do want to drop my car, and I do like the idea of a progressive rate spring for a much softer ride. The stock springs are to stiff for cruising, and too soft for performance (worst of both worlds). The only reason I have avoided springs is everyone says H&R drop 1.25 inches (too much IMO).

I know there are two different heights after searching (along with two different part numbers, 29108-1 vs 29108-2).

Many claim the 0.75" drop rating is actually inaccurate and it's really more... Is there a spring that will genuinely just drop the car 5/8-3/4 total? I don't want to drop it too much and most of the H&R drops I see are way too much IMO.

Another option is Vantage S springs which are supposedly a 20mm drop but increased sprig rate. If anyone has a used set of Vantage S springs I would be interested in those as well

Any help is appreciated bc this is confusing

I'll let others answer your other questions.

However, the difference between the 2 spring part numbers you list is not drop, it's for different cars.

29108-1=2006+ V8 Vantage Coupe
29108-2=2006+ V8 Vantage Vert

Thx for the clarification, that definitely is a good start.

Can anyone confirm the Vantage S spring drop is 20mm? (Close to .75" drop)
