I was generally in neutral without the clutch pressed. Press the clutch, move the car into first and happens. Just a hint of clutch pedal and just die. No bucking or weird stuff.

It's been 21 months since they flashed the software update that resolved my stalling issue. If anybody is still having this problem, I'd go to a dealership and request the software update. And just to recap, my issue was exclusively occurring when coasting down from speed, or feathering the clutch in traffic--the stall would happen after releasing the throttle, while the clutch was disengaged. (I suspect the issue was fuel-map related.)
