Clear Tail lights

Clear lights really do look great, however on these black on black AM's with the red calipers its something I think I would really need to see in person, and have a comparison. If going clear on the tail, I do think the side markers must be the same also, smoked of course. Interested is seeing the OP's smoked Red side markers. That might make the difference. On this DB9 its done, but the red doesn't stand out as much, that is due to the silver wheels. So that is what is causing any controversy I think. I am looking at a 07 triple black with red calipers too, so its nice to see an example.
Art, I think the clear taillights would look even better on your black car if they were the carbon edition version which have a black border instead of the light gray. I wanted these for my car but didn't want to spend the money trading mine in and getting another set for such a subtle enhancement. So what did I do? Vinyl to the rescue, of course! I wrapped the edges in gloss black vinyl and unless you actually inspect it from within 4 inches, you would never be able to tell. Here's one of my pictures showing the result:
