new oil catch can
Telum01,
Got your updated post so I jumped onto this thread to let you know Id love one set-up. Either color is fine, but black would be my 1st choice. Just PM me and let me know how much and where to send the money. Pay Pal is a good choice for me or I can send you a check. Geat job doing this whole thing. From the response Id say you out to make this a bit of a part time business!! To those asking questions about this, I can tell you I have personally installed them on my own vehicles, a 2013 Ram Hemi and a now sold 2012 jaguar XK and a traded in on my AM Vantage 2011 XKR. They all collected oil in the cans in a very short time telling me that I would have otherwise been burning oil like a 2 stroke !!

When a few more people confirm they're in, I'll PM everyone with my PayPal info. I'll also be asking what finish (brushed aluminum or wrinkle black) each person wants.
Once I get the money from everyone, I'll forward it along to the manufacturer. I'll be sending them a bracket from my original kit to use as a template for the new kits. When I get the prototype, I'll test fit it to make sure it's good, then okay production. It'll take a week or so from there.
Once I receive all the cans and brackets from the manufacturer, I'll be adding the hoses and connectors for each kit, then shipping them out to everyone.
...so long as everything goes smoothly! So far the manufacturer has been very good to work with so I'm not terribly concerned.
Hi Steve! I did verify with the manufacturer that we can choose which finish we want for each catch can. PayPal works best, and I'll PM you about it, hopefully in the next couple days!
The thought did cross my mind to start selling these at a profit but I'm really not making much off them. If the entire batch sells, the kit going on my car will have been paid for. But I'm also fronting several hundred bucks to get production started so the risk-to-reward isn't pretty. Not to mention the time and energy I've invested in the project, putting kits together, shipping them, etc. And I haven't recouped all my costs from the original batch, either! It's just one of those things where I saw a project I wanted to do on my car and figured I'd offer it to everyone else as well. Call it a "thank you" for all the great info that gets posted to our forum!

Got another person signed up so I'm going to get things started with the manufacturer.
I'll be ordering a batch of TEN catch cans and mounting brackets. Five are now spoken for. I won't be sending payment for everything until I've gotten and tested the prototype mounting bracket, so there's still a bit of time to join in.
Heads up for anyone interested:
Since this is a batch job, the finishes (wrinkle black or brushed aluminum) have to be specified beforehand. Those that have already paid me will get to pick the finish they want. The rest of the batch will have a first-come first-serve for finishes. Half of the unclaimed cans will be wrinkle black and the other half will be brushed aluminum.

I've got seven people committed so far so I'll send out my PayPal info. The mounting bracket being used as a template for the new batch is en route to the manufacturer. There's still time to join in before I send payment for the batch - basically until I get the new bracket prototype back to test-fit and give the go-ahead.

Sorry to derail - but I noticed your post.... I will be in Bellagio in September ... Any good restaurants to recommend ...

fantastic! let me know when you will come and if you want I can show some nice roads near Como area
you can go in Bellagio driving on the internal road of the lake or you can arrive near Menaggio (on the left side of the lake) and take the boat (no problem to enter with the car) that in 10 minutes will get in Bellagio (you have to try it! fantastic panorama from the boat)
on the left side of the lake (going in direction of Menaggio) you will find a great restaurant with private parking (it is the parking of the hotel that is just in front of the restaurant and they have vip places for nice cars), the name of the restaurat is IMPERIALINO (check the pictures on google, there is a fantastic view, great food and normal prices)
in Bellagio there is one restaurant that is not so bad and the name is Terrazza Metropole
