I'm very pleased with my last week's purchase: a late 2004 DB9 with 39K miles on the clock. I made a 3 day trip all over the UK driving several cars with this one standing-out best: it's a 4 previous owner car with no money spared on maintenance.
Most importantly it's a 300+ serial car (although early) but with the upgraded dip-stick, verified TSB upgrades and no ticking whatsoever. It's a dream to drive!
It's a pretty full car as well with folding mirrors, bright grille, PDC, heated seats, alarm upgrade, SatNav, CC, Tyre pressure monitoring, Fire extinguisher [with AM logo
] and Linn 950W system.
pictures!

beautiful car! Congrats!
Curious, where does the fire extinguisher mount in your car? I'd love to see a pic as I've been thinking of getting one for my vantage.

It'll be off next week to a company who'll be building in bolted half-cage roll-cage: this is needed in order to qualify of importing into Singapore, my current residency.
I can't put the car on a Singapore plate: since its older then 3 years. Therefore I'll have the roll-cage installed and have it registered as 'track-car', allowing me to trailer it into Malaysia to use it at Sepang or Pasir Gudang circuit for example.
If I import it 'as is' i'll have to fork-out 20 + 7% GST and, on top of that, can't move the vehicle around at all. Therefore it's sensible to get a roll-cage installed.
When moving back eventually to my home-country in Europe I will be able to 'import' it as a road car and enjoy it to the fullest.
Still, in the interim I can work on it and plan, for example, to powdercoat certain suspension-parts, install a DENSION, upgrade the NavSat etc.
Thanks for the pic!
Wow, you certainly had to really want this car to put up with that ordeal. So singapore doesn't have an option to bring a car in for non-citizens that exempts taxation, as long as you commit to export it when you leave?

Apologies for the shaky quality but as per picture it's mounted in the back.
Thanks!
It's an absolute stunner indeed: I was in for a grey one of course but upon seeing this beauty... LOVE
Thanks!

Congratulations - Caspian Blue....really nice. Too bad the need for the cage but make sense considering your movement. I like the "track car/road car" designation. A great excuse to really enjoy it!
My advantage lies in the fact being able to bring it back in future tax-free. And Aston Martin's are great classics anyway.
That is a really nice colour combo, congrats!

My first mod is a fact: I've just ordered a Kahn-design lip-spoiler. The car's still in the UK and now being fitted with a roll-cage. With lead time and shipment I'll only get her by late September it now seems.
It's a long, long wait my friends...
Anyway, the lip-spoiler once fitted will look like below (ex DBS diffuser, although I like that as well.......)

Have decided to buy the DBS-style rear bumper + diffuser. It's default design has the mansory-style diffuser and quad-exhaust tips which I don't like. They're modifying it for me without the quad-holes and exhaust tips and i'll be cutting circular holes to fit round-style tips instead.
Another advantage with the whole rear-bumper + diffuser mod is that it's fully reversible since I won't be doing any modding to my OEM-bumper. Looks will be as below 'draft-photoshop'..
One question I'm asking myself is the colour of the diffuser: i've ordered the non-carbon so it will need painting. What colour would look best on my Caspian Blue car? grey? matt-black? any suggestions?
