Seat memory Controls

So my 2007 V8 Vantage does not have power seat memory. If I were to buy the control panel for the seat adjuster with the memory buttons would it work to simply replace what I have?

The part numbers I'm seeing for cabin wiring harnesses only specify RHD vs LHD, manual vs automatic transmission, and with or without tel/nav/PDC.

If that's the case, then I'm assuming the memory seat module will be plug-and-play with your existing harness. I'm basing this entirely off a list of wiring harness part numbers, so take it with a grain of salt.

And then here's these:
7G43-14A701-AC - Switchpack assy, seat, RH - 1 - With memory
7G43-14B709-AC - Switchpack assy, seat, LH - 1 - With memory

I don't know if there's anything else needed.

Thanks for the info, I will check into it.

The dealer just told me this can't be done by just replacing the seat controls .

Is the "no" the definitive answer on this for an '07+ Vantage?

From what I know you would need to replace everything...the seat base with the motors and memory "brain", wire tree and switches.
So ok if you get a whole set from the junkyard, otherwise >2-3000 per seat.

According to the parts list, it does appear that the seat "squab frame" and the seat wiring harness are specific to the memory seats.

unless you have multiple drivers... you likely wouldn't use then as often as you think...

are the motors there?

I was fine with manual seats in my Evora. They were way quicker to adjust than power seats.
