Hi Torontodb9,

Congratulations on the new car. You are correct about the tarp under my car. It is to defer mice from getting at the car.

Hi Jyu12,

Do you still have your db9? Where do you bring it for service? MCL?

Cheers from a fellow BC db9 owner.

Hi Skeena

Yeah I still have my db9. I've used MCL and also an Indy shop in the pass. They have been ok but not perfect. I've started to do all the servicing my self now.

I place mouse traps in corners of garage and under the car. No water or food in garage for rodents to seek out.

6 months storage is not a long time. Only concern are rodents. I make sure the garage doors have no leaks and are properly sealed. I do place the tires over a thick rug, or thick insulation, inflate over 10lbs. Dryer seats can work, providing its less than 30 days old.

I am not a fan to fill the tank if only drive the car a couple thousand K a year. As the gas will become stale, especially if ethanol is in the gasoline.

I run mine low, then add 5 gallons of race gas (non ethanol), add Star Brite stabilizer, run car so it works through the systems/injectors, and begin storage process.

To me, changing the fluids, especially oil and brake fluid (if more than 2 years old) are important too for mechanicals. While in storage, I do inspect areas around the car for any rodent droppings.

Argus will become famous soon enough
I use rat/mouse poison not traps. Put the poison around and under the car. Use traps if you have pets. But check the traps all the time. You may want to roll the car a little each week to keep the bearings from getting a flat spot. Unless you put the car on stands.
