Looks like we think along the same lines since I have an Elise also, drove it from Denver home to Portland. It's now my track car and the Vantage is the weekend car.

 

I have a 2007 Vantage as well. I bought the car last August, and installed the powerpack about two months later. There's a thread on this form that I have done quite extensively on this installation. It is worth it in the higher RPM band if you really ring the car out. Around town you'll never notice the difference the price installed was around $4-5000. The hardest part was waiting for a recondition manifold from Aston Martin that took almost 2 months.
