I am contemplating purchasing a 2007 AM Vantage V8 6sp with 12k miles to replace my 99 Ferrari 360. Where can I find a list of recalls or fixes that were supposed to have been carried out?
Also is there a list of things I should really check carefully when looking over it or driving it?

Hey Alan, I saw your post on fchat, in fact I sent yo a pm there

Only two major recalls / fixes to look out for on pre 09 cars:

- is the timing chain cover leaking (from bottom of car), if not -- good, if yes -- not good. Has the car been brought in for this fix yet (was cover under warranty). Some car may never have this problem.

- has the car been brought in for the updated gear shift linkage. Owners who complained about very stiff 1st to 2nd shift when cold would get this done as a part of a service campaign. Again, not all cars have this problem. If its been done then you wont have to worry about it, if not then either the symptom is minor or not present at all.
