Is this a fair price

AM DC has a 07 Vantage V8 with 55k miles with service history for 45k. What is a fair price on the car. The interior does have some signs of wear.

Car looks clean and well cared for. Is the service up to date? I think any car with 55k miles is going to show wear, it's unreasonable to think otherwise. If the car is clean and runs out well I say go for it. Make sure to put it on a lift and check the timing chain cover and oil pan gasket for leaks. With those miles I'm sure there are signs of leaking. As long as your reasonable with your expectations (not new) it looks like a very good car.

You should pull the trigger. Sounds well maintained. I would still get it checked out at a shop other then the selling dealer. Good luck!

Seats look pretty worn. May be indicative of short trips. Make sure clutch can stall the car.

Hmm.. sounds like you should get it down to 40k for those kinda miles. Maybe 42k. I mean depending if you plan to resell the car in the next 5yrs you're going to take a huge hit once the car gets over 65k miles. If you plan to keep it forever than I wouldn't worry about the price. Anyone else agree?

Of course a lower price is always better! However, cars for sale by an Aston dealer usually incur a "royalty tax" for doing business with them.

$40k for an Aston from a dealer?

I was actually surprised that 1) OP asked if this is a good price (it is) and 2) a dealer had an AM for sale for less than $60k.

****, I paid $64k for my 07 with 24k miles on it (and a CPO warranty) not even 8 months ago. If prices have fallen that much I'm in for some heartache when I sell. If dealer is selling at $45k you know they paid $35k or some other ridiculously low amount for it. Maybe it's the miles, but there's gotta be a bottom somewhere. I can't believe an AM dealer would price a car so low honestly.

Have it inspected by another dealer. A lot of folks have had a good experience at AMoDC and a lot of have not including myself. Search for reviews & you'll find when a problem arises Pieter won't return your calls. Their 'top' tech is also leaving.

Just got in touch with the dealer. It was a trade in. Thy paid $39k for it. Reason they are selling low is the low trade they paid for it.

They have an identical car with 35k miles for $59.999. According to them they paid a lot more for the trade in to make the deal happen on that one.

I personally think it's a steal and will be sold very shortly. In fact I am considering picking it up. This way I can keep my sport shirt roadster! Still debating...

Btw they have agreed to my $43,000. I'm not sure if I'll do it but if your serious they will do $43,000. Thought I'd help someone.

wow the interior is beat, my biggest pet peeve is worn out interiors:

- door handle chip from seat belt
- driver door scratches
- driver side sills scratched to hell
- passenger side dash peerling
- driver seat leather dye worn off
