DBS owners - anyone know where this wire goes?
Accidentally yanked a wire under the glove box loose while wiring up some cameras. Seems to be a single, black ground wire of some sort enclosed in a plastic loom.
The end that I need to reconnect is wrapped up in electrical tape. (I peeled back the tape, and it looks like a black/greyish spade connector.)
One end terminates in the fuse box, the loom runs along the bottom of the fuse box, up the side, and out of the fuse box, and then connects somewhere. (??)
I've attached photos. The green line shows the route of the loom.
Reaching out to fellow owners to see if someone has a moment to snap a photo of where this wire terminates.
(Btw, there should be no need to open up the fuse box. I believe there's only one skinny plastic loom coming out the top.)
Any help would be much appreciated.

To see the loom I'm referring to, you'd have to pull back the top of the floormat (secured by double-sided tape) and expose the top of the fusebox.
The loom comes out of the top right of the fuse box and yours probably goes directly behind the right hand side trim, so you'll probably have to pull back this trim a bit to see the loom and then to find out where the loom goes to.
My photos show the fusebox cover plate removed and a bunch of extra wires from my dashcam, so it definitely has a mess of stuff going on compared to yours.
I've added a couple more pictures to the post to make things a little more clear.

Best I can tell it connects to something behind the right hand trim under the glovebox.

Thank you, though I'm not quite clear what I'm supposed to be looking for based on those parts manual pages. They appear to show a part in the boot area. The wire I'm trying to reconnect is in the cabin area in the vicinity of the glove box. If you can shed some more light here, I'd appreciate it.

That does not look like anything original, actually I'm pretty sure it's 100% not original. With that end it looks like someone has made an antenna and routed it through the dash. Even the wire loom used doesn't look like it was routed by the factory, really looks aftermarket. I can see you have something aftermarket splices into the CEM, could it possible be relates to what ever is there, like a audio transmitter or remote start/alarm module?

Could be used for that, but doesn't piggy back off the fuse, you would have to remove a fuse and plug in this fitting..which would be non fused now unless it is at the other end and also the wire isn't red to show its carrying power
