Montana107 is infamous around these parts
I put my eyes on a TRG GT4 yesterday and looked the suspension over very closely. It appeared to be the exact same thing as my Vanatge S suspension with exception of the shocks. No spherical bearings, etc... I spoke to the gentleman that sets up the suspension and he said it is identical to the stock car with exception of the double adjustable Bilsteins... Who knows... Appears my BMW club race car has more suspension development than a GT4 race car... Stunning

I think it says more about how capable the suspension is on the street cars if it can handle professional racing...

I came up with a solution I am satisfied with concerning the rear camber on my car (lowered 2009 sport pack Vantage). I also had concerns about the rear suspension being a bit too low, I was able to rule out these 2 issues at once: I had a machine shop fabricate aluminum spacers to install between the rear shocks and springs. I made measurements before and after the install, and even if the way I got those measurements is not the most accurate, it gives a pretty good idea bout what to expect on the alignment machine (rule, level and trigonometry): I was able to increase the rear camber from -2.9 deg. to -1.8 deg., which is right on the spec.

I remember talking to a tech who said that there was very little camber adjustment on the rear of these cars. As someone else noted, if you lower the car you almost have to live with the rear not being able to be brought back to factory specs. Note that aggressive width wheel adapters can cause the same problems.

By adding your spacers have you not raised the ride height back to where it was before you installed the lower springs?

No not at all. It raised just a bit.

That looks great!!!! Even my wheels and model year.

The "after" picture seems to be the perfect ride height. Do you have measurements of the plates so I can reproduce?

I would like ot lower my car a bit but am concerned what it would do to the feel of the suspension. I really love the feel of it as is. I just don't love the gap between the tire and the fender or whatever it's called.

I'm with whoever paid the compliment to the OP on the appearance of the car. The stance, combined with the gorgeous wheels and the huge yellow Brembo's - just perfect.
