Yes, it would be there all the time if a main or rod bearing was bad.

Could be a valve lash issue?

How is your oil level/oil consumption, and are you seeing a lot of oil in the intake?

After learning that the V8/V12s are based on Ford Duratec parts, I'm much more at ease about engine rebuilds. It seems the powdered metal rods are the cheapest part in there, and the lubrication on the stock rod bearings leaves something to be desired. If you search youtube there is a video on a DB9 engine rebuild.

I think they quoted the rebuild cost about 15k, but now the rotating assembly is bulletproof.

Coil replaced

Just replaced coil for 113 bucks. Reset codes... Still get misfire in cylinder 3... Plus intermittent knock/tap sound. Yes will tow to dealer but any other suggestions are appreciated. 26,900 miles on car. Makes no sense to me...
