I really only want it initially to turn off the crappy way AM devised the DRL system. However, I've come to rely on my BMW & Audi software so much to diagnose issues with manufacturer specific components that I feel vulnerable without something for the AM. My OBD Fusion is very intuitive with the AM engine ECU and provides great live data while operating - so I'm not at a complete loss.
AMDS is not like inpa or VAS. You can't code anything with AMDS, all coding (except mirror fold) is done by downloading a factory requested file. However you csn flash the stock software to various modules(software is not on a server, it's on AMDS just if it's not up to date, you don't get a date of release)

BTW, if it's a racing AMDS, it's not fully unlocked and doesn't load all the stuff your car configuration file tells AMDS is equipped on the vehicle. A racing car doesn't give a crap about door modules or infotainment system, so some stuff loads and some doesn't, or it will show the module and scan it like the PCM. But with it being a racinrlg AMDS, a lot of codes are disabled from being seen so that the tech doesn't misdiagnose an issue thats not actually present..etc

Thanks Irish - yes it's a version from a racing team. Given what you've said it will be of little value to me. I already have software that interrogates the engine ECU very well.

If you don't mind I have a couple of questions:

Are manufacturer components (i.e. air bags for example) coded to the car similar to a BMW where the VIN is recorded in the component firmware and a swap with a donor would trigger an error unless recoded? Similarly, does an AM store any driver specific actions and use them in predicting driver needs (I.e. auto gear shift adaptations, DME cooling commands) Just trying to get my head around the workings (been too long on BMW's)
