AM v12v is infamous around these parts

Remember that these cars have a factory exhaust manifold that has 2 big 600 cell catalyst bricks on either side, so you still have a lot of effective silencing upstream, unlike on a V8.
Thanks Stuart. Very tempted but don't want to go too loud.

How is it compared to a V12V with secondary cat delete? Different sound I appreciate but how is the loudness?

Hi Stuart, I'm eyeing your decat pipes for my DBS. Do you have any examples of what the sound is like? I am a big fan of the stock exhaust noise of the DBS with fuse pulled but I'd like more of it, especially at lower RPMs. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

This isn't ours but will sound identical. Secondary De-Cat pipes on a DBS is a nice growl, but not too over the top. Plus you still retain the valve operation.

We are a couple weeks away from being in our new location in the Okanagan, very close to Area 27 Racetrack. Drop me a line - 250-460-1775 and we could talk about a couple of things/options.

V12V with JUST a secondary cat delete is going to be a little bit louder than cat delete + XPipe + Muffler Delete. The mufflers on the 12 cylinder cars are not doing as much silencing as the V8's, again because of the upstream cats in the exhaust manifolds.

If you're in London, we have lots of Aston vendors who sell our products, quite close to you. One in particular in Hampshire. Email me at Stuart@VelocityAP.com for more info.

Hi Stuart, James Appleby fitted my cat delete so have emailed him. Im guessing thats who your referring to?

If its a touch quieter but added power, I'm in!

DAE is a little further afield but they are the best specialist in the UK hands down so if you've been up there before, then 100% I would go to them.

And yes, there's more power. If you read this thread, testing was done on a 4.3L Vantage, but fundamentally the same thing as what we'd install on your car. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ml#post4393766

7RHWP and 20RWTQ. So on a V12 maybe a touch more? You might see 10RWHP and 25RWTQ - add about 20% to get crank measurements.

I'm planning on installing Velocity Headers, Fabspeed "X" Pipe and these muffler delete pipes if I can find them...

I purchased them through Stuart at Velocity.

Hey Stu,

I do not see it on your website... Also do you have before/after dynoes on the V12 application (specifically the V12S if possible)

Thanks

It's the same as the V8 parts. Same cost etc. No dynos. I would expect you to see a similar % increase to that seen on the V8 Vantage.

The aggressive bark and crackle and pops of my secondary decat delete is so nice. The X pipe and muffler delete does not sound as nice IMO.

I guess its a trade off, Awesome noise vs not so awesome noise but with weight loss and a touch more power.

Hmmm.

Have you considered a local custom exhaust shop? Most major metro areas have a handful of knowledgable boutique fabricators that are economical. I did that with my last Porsche and I got a good custom x-pipe for less than half of the known vendors. It had very little drone which is hard to achieve on that platform. Not trying to steer anyone away from sponsors but name brand exhausts for our cars are really expensive.
