Ok I understant, maybe with the heat of the engine the hood exudates epoxy vapors and appear waves My intention was to paint it in the car colour and left the vents in carbono (like in the photo) but I will trusth you and drive it for a week or maintain the engine on for a few hours every day at workshop before paint it to avoid do it twice

Thank you very much for the advice
No problem my friend, I've done quite a few project cars and when it comes to CF hoods I've leaned to always run for a while before painting. Keep updates coming.

Hey Marcos, any update on the fitment of the splitter and diffuser? Please let me know and post photos. I'm looking to purchase and already in conversation with Jack from OYA Carbon. I plan to pull the trigger when you give me the green light. Ha ha ha

Thanks in advance.

I sent an email to Oya about the rear difusser and front splitter for my 2013 V8 Vantage. I asked the questions about which parts were right but he just sent me the catalog and asked which parts I'm interested in. Feels a bit like a crap shot. Obviously my 13 is a face-lift model.

Does the catalog look like it has the right pieces? I just can't tell because the pics are so small. I'm afraid they only have pre face-lift parts.

Indeed your concerns are valid. I went through the same issue. I have the upgraded bumpers and OYA does not carry the rear diffuser and bumper that would fit. :/

Rats. How about the front splitter?

How did you end up sourcing your rear difusser? I don't plan on spending $3-4k buying from AM.

Sorry, none of them will fit your car, they are all pre-facelift. One thing you can do its send they your front and rear bumper and they can make molds of those parts and send it in carbon to you as I ear around here..they should make you a discount I guess..

That is interesting. With winter coming I might consider that if the price is right.

I'm trying to work a with deal Oya where they will use my splitter and diffuser to make molds for the 12.25+ V8 Vantage. However their estimates for MSRP on the new parts are way higher than their previous year counterparts. 200-400% higher. Good pricing compared to anywhere else, but still. I'd also be without use of my car for a few months.

Hi guys!

First fiting problems appear, the rear spoiler is a real disaster, almost imposible to save, I thought that maybe were a mistake and they send me the one of the volante (cabrio) but not, I tried it onto a friendīs car and taht have one volante and still the same. See the disaster in the photos..

Now see at the Volante, not as much as mine but still the same.. well as my intention was to paint it in the car colour I will have to spend money in modify it with paste and fiber until fit well in the trunk, the cheap turns expensive..

That's no good. Is that the first piece you have had a problem with? What other pieces do you still have to try fitting? What is the policy of the manufacturer for returns?
