I recently had an opportunity to drive a 2016 V8 Vantage GT Roadster in Mariana Blue, and it was awesome! This was my first time driving an AM vehicle, and I really enjoyed the more analog feel of the car; it's refreshing in a marketplace that's filled with electronic nannies everywhere.
The icing on the cake was that I got to share this experience with actor Sung Kang (Fast & Furious franchise).
I love the gauges and the new piano black center console with the he optional black *****. The new gauges are standard on all V8 GT and GTS for 2016 but is still just optional on the V12s, even the V12S.
The 2016 wheels on the other hand just don't do it for me.
Nice review, I drove the same car but in coupe form up in Monterey this year at the Aston Martin estate. I found it's reflexes in steering breaking handling and throttle response to be so much sharper than my 2007 Vantage .

Thanks, Ron! I agree, the throttle response is great, especially when Sport mode is engaged.
I made sure to shift around 4k RPM so I could get the exhaust bypass valves to open. The speed limit comes up so fast.

Yup, it's a totally different car to the older V8s stock.
I liked the forged graphite better than the new 5-spokes, but in my opinion the OEM wheel that still fits the character of the car the best are the V8S V-spoke wheels.
