Just picked up my 2009 V8 Vantage

Hi all,

I just picked up my 2009 Vantage V8 yesterday. I drove out last night and it is such an amazing car overall - loving every second. However, I ran into a slight problem last night. The passenger side window was working fine when I drove out from my house. But suddenly it stopped working and I couldn't roll down the window anymore.

I did some research online last night and I am going to reset the battery to see if it would fix the problem. I appreciate any advice/suggestion/help from you.

Thanks!

Same thing happened to my driver side window. I took off the door panel unplugged the window unit waited 20 seconds and plugged it back in. Started working just fine. Had to do the window reset after in order for the window to auto roll up and down when opening and closing the door.

Thank you all for your messages. I am enjoying it while I could - This car will not come out of the garage when the snow starts till spring.

Alex - is there any youtube clip showing how to take off the door panel? TBH, i am scared to touch anything on this car.

Congrats and enjoy! Oye to the small problem already. This is why I opted not to keep mine as a DD but really hoping to be back in an Aston soon.

There wasn't a video but it was pretty straight forward. Just remove the obvious screws. I am pretty sure I removed one or two more than I had to but it wasn't difficult. I might have time this weekend to throw together a video.

Seems a bit squattier than mine but I'm sure you can squeeze yourself in. Congratulations on owning a very special automobile!!

Great good luck! Oh watch out for the door light that is plugged into panel at the bottom. Mine just came loose and snapped back in.

Hey man I made a quick video. Let me know if you ran into any issues. Sorry its not terribly detailed, but it is pretty simple.
