V8V Storage Question / Battery

So my V8V Vantage is being delivered this week and then unfortunately sitting in storage for 3-4 months. Should I disconnect the battery or simply start the vehicle and let it run for 15 minutes each week? Gaining access to the battery looks to be a task in and of itself after watching a video on Youtube. Any recommendations how to proceed or other considerations I should make when storing it?

Thanks in advance,

I usually leave my Vantage in storage for 4 months 2x a year due to my job. So I've invested in a battery conditioner from CTEK (Multi 4.3) and have had no problems whatsoever starting it back up upon each return. I've read that starting the car and just letting it idle will actually do more harm then good since the engine never reaches optimum operating temp.

I definitely would not do that, it will help condense moisture from the atmosphere, into the crankcase but then fail to evaporate that moisture due to the short run time.

If you have access to power, connect a battery maintainer such as a CTEK or Battery Tender. Also, I like to slightly overinflate the tires (5 or so lbs) to help combat risk of flat-spotting. Don't know if the extra inflation truly helps, but it makes me feel like I'm trying.

I also use a CTEK 3.4 and overinflate the tires.
No problems

Personally I like the CTEK (56-353) MULTI US 7002 model, about $110 on Amazon, along with the CTEK (56-263) Comfort Connect Cigarette plug, about $12 on Amazon.

This combination is currently plugged into the power port in the trunk of my Aston, and another set just like it is plugged into the cig lighter of another car of mine.

There are cheaper battery maintainers, I like the CTEK for it's multi-phased processing, and it's the OEM vendor for the factory Aston charger.

I have the Aston branded CTEK charger and have no issues. I start up the car every few weeks as well. OP, what area of the country are you located in?

I use a Battery Tender brand charger plugged into the power port in the trunk. I keep it connected year-round because the car doesn't get driven much.
