Anyone fitted additional driving/fog lights to a DB9?

HI guys, noob here again!

Where I live (upstate NY) it's deer city most of the year round, and most cars/trucks drive around with front fog lights on to give half a chance of catching a view of the deer's eyes before it leaps out in front of you and destroys your $3800 bonnet.

I'm about due for a 'deer tagging' so my question is, has anybody fitted lower driving/foglights to their DB9?

I was quite surprised the car doesn't have them. Any ideas? Apart from 'read the manual, here's the switch'....

Thanks,

K9

How about behind the grill single row lightbar set-up? Multiple sizes and great output. Of course the stealth look. Using a remote switching device (wireless) is a easy installation and removal process. 20"-30" would be amazing light output.

ooo, you thinking behind the lower grille? I was going to build an enclosure for the outer vents in the lower bumper... but you're thinking more like this, behind the lower grille?:

Hopefully leave enough cooling room....

Outer vents in the lower bumper feed your engine air intake

So that's what they do! OK, plan B..... but it's not as if a lamp in the aperture will starve the engine of air, but I take our point...

I am kind of liking this idea.... BUT I did recently see a car on the highway with one center mounted light like this and it just looked REALLY weird to see a single light coming from the middle of a car.

I think however if you went with two 7" models of that 21" shown above ... and put them in the lower opening as far apart as possible.. potentially at the top of the lower opening hanging down behind the mesh... You just might have the right thing!

The other big plus... when you walk by the car at normal eye level you wouldn't necessarily see the lights at all when they are off.

Nice idea, thank you. I was thinking of something like this, modified to fit the outer openings"

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1994-1997-AC...JSgxzC&vxp=mtr

but if that will suffocate the engine (which I doubt, frankly... how does a DB9 with a Mansory front end breathe?) then maybe one of these at each outer corner of the centre opening, pointed a little to the verges, would work:

Thoughts? K9

What about these behind the grille?

It looks like they would be easy to mount.

Right, something like that would work. I just ordered another fog light switch from the UK, so when it arrives I'll update as to what lights I chose....

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure they don't. The air intake horns are behind the upper grille in the corners.

.. and there is barely any space behind these outer grilles to fit lights: the airfilter boxes are in the way.
