My Dream Car finally home

First I would like to thank everyone here for all the excellent information which help me pull the trigger. I really wanted one since they first came out but she was a little too steep for my budget. I have been on the hunt for a few years now to find the perfect car (in my opinion) and I finally found her, a 2009 AMV8 with a manual gear box and only 30,000km. I though that I would have to trailer it over the winter but to my amazement the weather man (god) help and on the 31 Jan 2016 it was 9 degree Celsius so I drove 5 hrs and back the next day 1 Feb 2016 a little cooler at 7 Celsius for another 5 hrs drive. I was smiling from ear to ear all the way back. The only sad story here is that I had to put it back into storage as the temperature dropped like crazy here in Ottawa and I have to be patient and wait for the sunny months to come back.

Nice Vantage, and good transmission choice. Enjoy it when the weather is better, it will give you something to look forward to.

Thanks everyone I am looking forward to the summer months now more than ever. I will have a few things to fix like the passenger dash leather panel needs regluing, noticed that the little clock in the console doesn't seems to be working but beside that she looks good all over. I will add a rear diffuser and possibly V12 side skirts in the future and possibly paint the front grill, side stalk and hood grill gloss black. I also noticed that some of the new Vantage have black trim around the side windows, I would like that but not sure of the cost... You know I have to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming and really own one :-)

More search on the forum and Internet

Congratulations and enjoy. It's not quite as cold as Ottawa, but I bought my Vanquish in November here in Chicago. I've been waiting for warm days since to drive it more!

Vanquish... Wow that would be a nice ride. For now I will start with the baby Aston and might work my way up some day.

Congrats and welcome. Lots of great information on this forum, and a bunch of folks always willing to help. Hope the weather gets better for you. For now just grab a beer and go out to the garage and just enjoy looking at your new elegant machine.
