Side Strake, Waterfall and Hood Vent ideas

On different models the side strakes and hood vent types could be better looking if we were able to swap them out. I have no clue and wondered if anyone had looked into this or even tried to see if some of them are same size. I know for whole hood swaps the DB9's and Vantages all have the same so you could like KF just by the hood you like and change it. But kinda expensive. Here are a couple examples of what I am taking about. Just not sure for the strakes how the chrome strip mounts and wouldn't want to do body work filing and drilling holes. I am pretty sure the hood vents wont work, but can't remember which side I took pic on and being closer might throw off actual size.

Mansory makes the hood vents like your top vented picture on the hood. They are hard to find and around $5000 just for the two vents! If someone could produce something similar for a lot less money, they would sell like hot cakes! The hood vents and side vents are made from a very common grating configuration used for gutter covers! I find them tacky at best, but have not found a better solution for a reasonable cost.....

I disagree. I like the mesh vents far better than the gaudy version from the Virage, so selling like hot cakes? Don't think so.

And for the OP, why the photo of the Vanquish interior?

Fixed, sorry didnt realize it was in there. Having one thread that can cover things like different waterfalls I thought was good, gives a place for people to see all the different kinds in one place.

Well as the vents go, your opinion hardly constitutes a majority voice. I have spoken with many Vantage owners that would disagree with you fully. Just because you have an opinion, that doesnt necessarily make it right!
