2005 DB9 side or running lights. Are there any?

Hi guys, another newbie question, sorry.

When I turn my light switch to the first position, that I would call side lights, or running lights in the USA, nothing happens in my headlight clusters, only the bumper markers light up. Should there be a light that illuminates before the dipped beams?

Is this blue object in the corner of the headlamp a bulb that should be the side light?:

Thanks, K9

I don't remember if it comes on with the parking light position, but I'm 100% it will come on if the lights are turned on. So if with the light on, it doesn't light up..bulb is burnt.

I too have found that i need to replace this same bulb. Does this require the removal of the wheel well liner to get at it, or can it be accesses by removing the large front cover under the bonnet next to it?

Guessing----- remove the wheel well liner to get access. Not a bad thing to do anyway, then you will be able to wash out ALL areas underneath where dust, rocks, and debris will have found a home. Then you can really clean the wheel well liner and put a sealant on it to keep it clean.

I think those are called "City Lights", I remember they were called that on my old Maserati Q, and I think I read somewhere that they were called that on these. So not sure.

I don't have mine readily accessible, so cannot help any further.

Replacing those little bulbs definitely requires wheel arch liners out.
