More engine photos/descriptions...

If you start viewing at 2:15 till about 4:15, there are some additional views and descriptions of the new features - look carefully to see the C pillar ducting cutaway.
There is also a sequence of shots of the engine out of the chassis.

The relationship with Mercedes will no doubt pay dividends (we might actually get a decent Nav )
But I am somewhat disappointed about this engine choice. IMHO, there is no substitute for a naturally aspirated engine. (My wife’s Mercedes displays some turbo lag)

Ferrari, after stanchly holding firm, has now acquiesced and is producing a turbocharged engine. Aston Martin and Lamborghini were probably the last hold outs. If Aston still had a relationship with Ford my engine choice would be the Ford Voodoo flat plane crankshaft V-8 currently in the GT 350. (5.2 liters, 526 HP and a redline of 8250 RPM).
The Audi V-10 would be my next choice.

The TT V12 is actually not a Mercedes engine, it's their own design so you cannot blame Mercedes for that one. The new V8 is directly out of the AMG GTS, but the V12 is theirs.

They have to switch to TT for emissions, no way around that. The new AMG v8 will go in virtually all of their other models (including their new SUV) as a way of drastically lowering their overall emissions across their product lineup

And boom goes the dynamite lol

If the waste gate doesn't open, excess exhaust gas can't be vented. This causes the turbo to spool uncontrollably, and boost will increase until the engine pops.
