About to buy new wheels/tires/springs . . . any last minute advice?

Hello Friends/Experts,

I'm about to make a long awaited upgrade to my AMV8V. Before I finalize the purchase today, I wanted to see if anyone has any last minute advice for me. Any comments and advice is greatly appreciated.

My purpose in this purchase is to improve the stance, to get prettier wheels and to eliminate the gap between the tires and fenders. All that without compromising the quality of the ride.

Any issues with the tire sizes? VelocityAP lowering springs a good idea? Should I go to 11" width on the rear wheels? Any input would be awesome! Thank you in advance!

I will be purchasing:
1. HRE P101 20" wheels (brushed dark clear), 9" front width, 10.5" rear width
2. VelocityAP Sport 7/8" lowering springs
3. Michelin 245/35ZR20 95Y Pilot Super Sport XL K1 and 285/30ZR20 99Y Pilot Super Sport XL K1

Regards,
M

I see a few orders here with 11" wide rears so it's do-able, but I'd say the majority of them are 10.5" rears and 9" fronts. ultimately it's a matter of preference but ultimately the extra half inch wont gain substantial weight to not consider it an option. Go with your gut feeling!

My only input will be to throw an alignment after everything is set and done.

Ah yes. I accidentally left that out. Thank you for reminding me. That is definitely a must. I appreciate the support.

Super sports are a great tire. I recommend 255/305 or 265/305 if you can fit them.

HRE are always a great wheel. Can't go wrong with them. Velocity makes a great progressive rate spring. Great plan so far.

I hope your HREs come out better than mine....

FYI

I have 11 inch rear with 305s and 9 inch front with 255s Pirelli and they fit with no issues
