Back in an Aston...

Super excited as I was missing my last two DBS cars really badly. For those of you who know me, my taste is always for the crazier side of things. After selling my last DBS (an infa red 2009 6 speed), I loved it so much that I bought an 11 grey DBS and customized it immediately. After a year of fun, it was time to go and the new aston line just wasnt appealing to me then. Thanks to Scott Zankl at Excell Auto in FL, I was able to find a super unique Vanquish. #38/100 Centenary Edition Vanquish in a very rare two tone with carbon everywhere.

I am excited to have Stu@velocityAP do his thing and we will immediately tweak it and customize this one. We plan on doing the following mods to it.

- Lowering Springs
- Power Pack V12
- ADV1 Wheels
- Yellow Calipers.

Super excited to make this car come to life and finally back in Aston after 7 months in a 991 Turbo S cab as a daily.

Surprised that the DBS and Vanquish share so much in common mechanically. Would have hoped for more improvements but what a significant technology upgrade and insane styling.

I ll post pics tomorrow, and meanwhile here are my last 5 astons i built.

Here she is. 2014 Centenery edition Vanquish #38/100

Transferred them from my 09 - now on my 15 GT ... They are getting around! A p1 owner asked if I had a wide body kit... The wheels make the car appear much wider.

OP----

Do you have possibly more pics of the Black DB9??? Could you possibly post those or if you have a link to where they are. I really like that one, (ha only one I could afford). Saw your video on the red DBS, best looking one yet.

Thanks

09DBS will become famous soon enough
Thumbs up

Gorgeous lines and a unique centenary Vanquish color combo. My first venture into the Aston Vanquish up-close experience was at the beach cliff side Palos Verdes Concourse in 2013 with Ogara coach (I think I have a photo somewhere around). If it's one thing I remember about the experience, it's the presence the car provides in person - powerful shapes, refined body lines and attention grabbing without being overtly loud.

If I was to ever depart from the DBS, this color and combo setup is ideal. Any additional cosmetic mods might be bordering on criminal but keep us posted on any exhaust upgrades.

-Stay positive and influential

Took me a while to depart form my DBS cars too. I dont know that the Vanquish is a better car than the DBS, just different. I still think the design on the DBS is raw, vs the Vanquish elegant. The more i look at it, the more I agree that the need to change cosmetic elements may not be a good idea.

Agree that the DBS is a different animal. But if I had a girlfriend it would be the Vanquish. Stunningly beautiful.
