just did oil change on V8V
Just did the oil change on my 2007 v8v, so did a visual on the
timing cover etc after reading about the nightmare leak senarios.
to my surprise there is no oil what so ever ,not even a smear,
it is bone dry all around , my question is should i be able to see if it is the
original gaskets or if the leak was repair with new gaskets at some point.
my car has 60,000kms on it,and as i bought it from private dealer it
didnt have a A.M service history, the carfax i got was very basic.
would the AM dealer charge me for a full service history printout
thanks in advance for any info

I've never been charged by a dealership to get service records (Toyota, Subaru, BMW, or Aston). But they'll only have the records if they performed the service, so it might not be so easy to get them.
thanks guys for the replies
hey handyman i,m not actually worried about it leaking, but more
curious ,thinking would it be amazing to have 60k on the car with
the original timing gasket, and original clutch ??
