Removal of Side Repeaters
#16
OMG, what a PAIN IN THE YOU KNOW WHAT!!!!
The lens came in the mail, but guess what? They didn't FIT!
Luckily, I broke out the trusty dremel and shaved a few millimeters from the right places, and viola in they went. What should have been a 30 min job wound up taking almost 1.5 hrs. grrrrrrrr
I guess everyone knows what smoked side repeaters look like so I won't bother with pictures unless asked.

How did they not fit? Where'd you order them from? Aftermarket or OEM from Aston?

I was not aware you could get these in smoked as OEM. What did I miss here. I ordered them from blinkerhaus-ltd which is based in Germany.

Thanks guys, I have some on order. I'm also considering removing the smoked turn indicators in the front fenders (the long thin rectangular ones). I'm not sure whether to go back to stock or do the LED conversion. The clear does look better than the yellow but I thought the LED unit looked a bit like an aftermarket part. What are my options here?
