Phone mount in a Vantage

Hey All,

Just wondering what type of phone mounts are you guys using since there is no really good place to put you phone.

I purchase this CD magnetic mount from Koomus because it had a small footprint, didn't need to place in the center of the CD slot, and could be angle towards the driver.

But unfortunately, it wouldn't insert so I had to return it. I was wondering if any of you found a CD mount that worked well.

i've not found any solution yet, not sure if there would be any vent mount options that would work being that in my opinion, the vents are already super finicky and hard to adjust.

Just curious do you have a case on your phone when using that mount?

I use something similar to the above. There is a thin metal plate inserted inside my case used for the magnet. The base attaches to one of the AC /heater grill slats. It's not perfect, but is the most unobtrusive phone holder I've found so far.

I tried a bunch of options without success. I now set my iPhone in the dashboard "triangle" just to the right of the instrument cluster.

Do they scratch the vent slates? I've seen some pictures where the holder have scratched the vents?

I use this:

Not magnetic though. The fit is not 100% secure, but it does come with pieces that make the grip area thicker that I just won't use. However, it is secure enough if I am not constantly rotating my phone around.
