Do you mean these? If so, do you like the FR2s or FR4s? I'm torn. All of the Ferrada staff was at SEMA, so I'll know next week if these rims can even support the large calipers of the Astons, as well as if the wheels can accept OEM center caps.

FR2

FR4

I prefer the FR4 style, however the P101 HRE style (FR2) is my favourite on AMs by far.

1. IF you look at the wheels, both styles, you see the spokes don't touch the lip of the wheels and tend to stick out some. Don't like that at all. Doesn't seem to be maybe supportive enough.
2. Most of the pics show what I hate on aftermarket wheels. Especially that Merc pic. The rear wheels are not sized right for the car. While the rim is flush with the body, the tires are stretched so the lip of the rims show and stick out. Curb killer and possibly cornering hard the lip will kiss the pavement. But, I hate that. Not sure why they buy smaller tires than what should be on the wheels.
3. Check out BC Forged BX-04/RS41 and RS31 styles. Really good wheels, that the AM badge will fit but you have to request that, and prices are very fair.

Just FYI on the paint, even Brand New AMs need a paint correction to fix the errors installed at the Factory, and the DISO issues. For those of you who don't know what DISO is------its the Dealer Installed Swirl Option! ITs a must have option from every dealer in the country and they don't even charge you for it. Imagine that. An option that is free. hahahahahaha, sad thing is they have no clue and no care at all that they do this. Paint Correction process is a term most people and most all dealers have never heard of.

For all the work and hard earned cash that you are putting into this Aston project it hurts me to see anything else besides a set of HRE's for this car. It deserves the best of the best...

I haven't ruled anything out yet. Do you know if HREs can be machines for OEM center caps?

Put the handles and pulls back together last night: just place the spring mechanism in place, insert the pin, gently hammer the pin back snug!

Rear is done. Powder coated tail pipes glossy black in anticipation of contrast with satin black wrap.

Testing hand made LED bumper markers - saw it in person... Looks so unrea!
