it appears my actuator has gone out, I think i found the part, dealer pretty much said they can't get it, but it's the same actuator Jag uses on their fuel door.(even has a Jag part number on it)

My question is how do you get the old one out? i have the glove box out i can see the part, but it looks like getting to the 2 screw that hold it in place is all but impossible(they are on the back side), it's attached to an aluminum mounting plate that could be easily removed, except for the fact they riveted it to the body? anyone had to deal with this one yet?

90degree driver works for the screws if you remove the cabin filter door. AM part# 4G43-C06102-AB.

 

I checked out that part # it is not correct
does anyone know the correct AM # or
the jaguar fuel door #

 

My parts manual (for a 2009 DBS) shows the glovebox actuator part number as 4G43-37-10067. If you do a Google search for that part number, it'll probably come up as the fuel filler actuator. It's the same part.

I think the Jaguar part number is 2W93F9C070AB.
